Dick Whittington was our last pantomime back in 2012 and the photograph is from the scene aboard The Golden Duck which transports Dick, his cat and most of the cast to India! The whole of The Victoria Hall was transformed into The Golden Duck so the audience could embark and set sail on Dick Whittington’s quest to find gold together.
In 2011 we recreated the magic of Cinderella, complete with a horse and of course the fabulous carriage! Their were naughty fairies, meddlesome ugly sisters and even debt collectors!! The Victoria Hall was transformed into a grand ballroom and was packed out for very performance.
It all started in 2010 when Lisa said to Eryl…‘Why doesn’t this village have a pantomime?‘….and so Act Too was born on a sunny February morning. Soon Alistair was brought into the helm to help with directing and the rest as they say is history.
Here are the fabulous cast of our very first venture…’Aladdin’ back in 2010. It takes a whole team…in fact in our case several villages in the Parish of Wonston to make these things happen, not only on the stage, but behind the scenes…and of course our audience!
